Sole Searching Films is the business name utilised by Max Walker, an independent film and TV director, writer and producer. For the last decade Max has provided his knowledge and skills to production houses and broadcasters as diverse as the ABC/ BBC, the Seven and Nine Networks Australia, Al Jazeera and SBS to name but a few. His films have won or been nominated for some of the most prestigious awards in Film and TV (including the AFI’s) and many of the programs he's worked on - such as Australian Story, Jamie's Kitchen and Who Do You Think You Are - have been amongst the top rating and/or most critically acclaimed in the country. He continues to work on both his own projects and other productions being developed by fellow filmmakers.
